“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.”

      Oscar Wilde

      Hi, Pammy!

So good to meet up with you. ( It's rather like an unexpected meeting with a very good friend from the past )

I have always admired the wit of Samuel Clements, I like the following as these quotes seem somehow topical!

A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain.

A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.

Always acknowledge a fault. This will throw those in authority off their guard and give you an opportunity to commit more.

Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

An Englishman is a person who does things because they have been done before. An American is a person who does things because they haven't been done before.

Barring that natural expression of villainy which we all have, the man looked honest enough.

Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint.

A diplomat is a man who always remembers a woman's birthday but never remembers her age.

Do any of you believe this one.....When God Made Time, He Made Plenty Of It. I need another 100 years to do what I want before I meet my maker.
                          How long do you want?

Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.
