I for one think it is right. Ireland has an Irish embassy in Rome why have 2 within the same country in these austere times? And this is coming from a woman who along with her husband visited a tiny Catholic church, where exposition of the blessed sacrament was held and both Cathedrals in Liverpool on Ash Wednesday and we both loved the experience. I actually felt nearer to god in the small Catholic Church and the Anglican cathedral
In my opinion as a mere woman who the Catholic Church saw as a bearer of children to increase the membership of the Catholic religeon, have no say in the running of anything to do with rules etc, I think Ireland does not need a second embassy in Rome merely based on Cathoicsm. Close it down and save money and let them bunk in together
