Final push, I did it with My Daughter Erin and My Son Aran. It was only 11 mile but took in 5 peaks. The descent was quite steep and we were glad to finish but I still had a 3 hour drive back homeLast edited by archangel; 06-04-2012, 06:58 PM.

It usually not that hard but I love to get out every Sunday. My usual walking mates are 75 and 62. The 75 year old has been a serious cyclist all his life and he leaves me standing on the hills. The hard part is you always end up in a nice pub at the end of the day and you have to drink four or five foaming pints of good English Real Ale to replace lost liquids of course. Some ones got to do it.

Thank you Marie, For such a small outlay I cannot think what would bring me more pleasure, than a walk in the Hills. We are lucky we can get to 47 walks in less than an hour and 12 of them in 25 minutes. Its also nice that we have such a diverse range of country pubs that one can recoup one's spent energy with foaming pints of good ale. Next time in Dublin I'd like to tackle the Wicklow way.
