    After much deliberation these are my best and worse of 1970
    whats yours ?

    1) When Im dead and gone ,McGuiness Flint

    2) Woodstock , Southern Comfort

    3) Young Gifted and Black , Bob and Marcia ,

    4) Melting Pot , Blue Mink

    5) Patches , Clarence Carter

    6) Make it with you , Bread

    7) Reflections of my life , Marmalade

    8) Which way you going Billy ,Poppy Family

    9) Travelling Band . CCR

    10) Big Yellow taxi , Joni Mitchell


    and the worse
    1) All kinds of everything , Dana

    2) Instant Karma , John Lennon

    3) Abraham Martin and John, Marvin Gaye

    4) Goodbye Sam hello Samantha , Cliff Richard

    5) The wonder of you , Elvis

    6) Back Home , England world cup squad

    7) Julie do you love me , White plains

    8) My Way , Sinatra

    9) Honey come back , Glenn Campbell

    Bo I take it you mean the 1970's....you just have in 1970.

    Well the one I love most of your fav songs is "Melting Pot" .... a brilliant song.....my worst song would have to be ... and I hate it with a vengeance...."Sweet Caroline"....

      No Pammy , I mean 1970 , all these songs are from that year we will get to 1971 next , I know its not your era , but google the top 100 from then and compare ,

          I'm not a big fan of patches, but the rest are mostly Ok.I like My way, The wonder of you, everything is beautiful...we all have different likes and dislikes.

              Like all your likes Bo... but I wouldn't have Instant Kharma in my dislikes - one of Lennon's best solo efforts IMO...

                        you could also add.. a little bit o` irish...van morrison , moondance, gilbert o sullivan nothing rymed. also spirit in the sky norman greenbaum, simon and garrfunkle bridge over t water, in the summertime mungo gerry, yellow river christie. band of gold freda payne..... as spoonface says its all down to personal choice. my opinion is ..nothing today comes near to the music of the sixties and seventies [maybe its an old thing]. a good thread though ..its good to reflect.
                        in god i trust...everyone else cash only.
