Same here... at least we all know Internet Exploder and if something isn't quite right for the user there's loads of support available.

I have google chrome on our pc & laptop & have no problems using the forums or any other site on it but I still have IE8 on both too. I use safari on the I touch to browse the web too.

Did you try clearing your browser history & temporary Internet files??

Helen ask Willie to ping both sites it may be an Internet router issue. We're hosted in Texas from memory or perhaps Brazil. Dub.ie is hosted in Ireland.

well I am with eircom so if you go to their test speed page it does a ping test

presume other providers so the same?

That will probably only test your bband connection to them. I use the command line ping. Open a cmd window and type ping www.dublinforum.net that will ping the server and tell you what the round trip time is for the packets. If you really want detailed info type tracert www.dublinforum.net then you'll see the time to each individual router sending your packet across the Net.
