A closer second look at the Beck Morgan building Fenian St and Albert Place East, and a check of the street numbers, revealed that....Morgan's is not the original Gaffney's Pub....
I now believe the much altered building on the corner of Fenian St / Denzille Lane is in fact the old Gaffneys.....
A hint as to the correct spot is in the apex fronted building to the right is still there and in use by Foras na Gaeilge or AIS.
1. Original Fenian St Gaffney's. 2. Where it is. 3 Where I first thought it was.
