Default I'd hate to say it boys but...

As I said a while all the signs were there...and the proverbial blood was in the

water....Kevin Rudd fell on his sword...and was replaced by Julia Gillard...

our new P.M ...till the electorate decides later this year...if she stays, and

judging by todays reactions...she will win in her own right.

Historic day for Australia our first female P. M.

Kevin was so popular for such a long time....but he failed to heed the warnings

and didn't endear himself to middle Australia...very autocratic.

never mind about the mining bosses how about major unions being able to topple a democratically elected prime minister!! thats the scary thing!! Julia will battle to win back the ground lost in the electorate because she was the nodding head behind Kevin Rudd every time --you can fool some of the people some of the time but ya cant fool all of the people all of the time

Rudd was an amazingly poor communicator, he couldn't use one word when he could use ten. They did a lot of good things under his watch and a lot of really dumb things but it's difficult to overcome media bias in Australia. Look around the world at the shambles the OECD economies are in. If we'd taken the Liberals advice they would have fucked the economy.

We had the spectacle in Perth of billionaires dressed in denim shirts pretending to be working blokes, protesting from the back of a truck about paying more tax. Meanwhile the rest of us in Perth are paying through the nose for the so called boom. A few people are getting very, very rich while the rest of us are paying more for water, electricity and general living expenses here in Perth. The most expensive city in Australia to live in.

$150 million dollars in advertising paid for by the miners frightened the shit out of the ALP and they hit the panic button. But the ALP have a long memory and they are ruthless, that contribution from the miners won't be forgotten.

I hope Julia uses one of the double dissolution triggers available and forces a spill of the obstructionist Senate as well. There is no point in being in power in Australia if you don't control the Senate, you can't get anything done. If they get back in with a majority in both houses, then I hope they chop Andrew Forrest and Gina Rinehart off at the knees. I'm fed up paying for their 'boom'.

If that idiot Abbot, and the moron who can't string two sentences together without fucking up Barnaby Joyce get in, then God help us.

boxy, yes you are so right about Rudd...he was so boring....pedantic to extremes,

and a true narcissus.....it's a wonder he didn't clone himself....half an hour

to let go the reins....with that long speeeech. His pride brought his demise.

I tell you what Julia has a way with words...and will appeal to grass root

aussies.....if she delivers the goods.....no place to hide now...she's got the

numero uno position now....much more scrutiny.
