      • [QUOTE=DAMNTHEWEATHER;501543]Rees-Mogg says May has made absolutely NO CHANGE to May's original deal.
Attorney General Geoffrey Cox answered questions in the House of Commons on Tuesday afternoon after he gave legal advice on Theresa May's Strasbourg agreement. Mr Cox said that new provisions gained by Mrs May ”reduce the risk" of the UK being "indefinitely and involuntarily" held in the Brexit backstop, but said that "the legal risk remains unchanged" that the UK would have no legal means of exiting without EU agreement. Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr Cox answered questions from MPs where he appeared to almost call the Brexit backstop a mess.(Express)

That she does but they could have replayed her old speeches if she did totally lose her voice. She rarely says anything new, just repeats the same old tired material.

                    Some light relief

Guess we all would if we had a schedule like hers 'ey....I don't know why she simply doesn't throw in the towel at the wankers and let them get on with it. She's a stalwart of a lady and could teach the arrogant old bag Thatcher a thing or two imo.

                      • The tariffs announced this morning aren't going down well with business,

No tariffs on beef so good for Irish farmers up to a point do. South American or North american beef could easily undercut our price. No tariffs on steel so the UK government seems to have sold the UK steel industry out.
