not sure where to post this, but here goes, I have been going on the other site (dublinforums) and somehow I cant get my head around the new changes, it seems too clinical, I liked the old style (like on here) and it somehow doesnt feel so friendly any more. does anyone else feel the same??

Same here Paddy. I find myself going back there less and less. I think clinical is a good description for the way it's gone.

I was giving out about the smilies being scrunched up looking next door & also people are giving out how slow it is to let a post go through etc & to me it looks like they're too lazy in DCC to bother rectifying the look of the forum & iron out the bugs that Boxxy mentioned for the ease of the person using the forums.

THIS FORUM IS TOPS TO BE HONEST!

i think a lot of the older posters have left for one reason or another paddy and some newbies have replaced them and at times it can seem less friendly. i suppose it's life we all get a little bored after a while and move on to something else

The thing that puzzles me Paddy, is that they could easily make it look a lot more like the old interface. It's a 10 minute job but it seems there is a lack of any interest. People are complaining that it is irritating their eyes etc. If that's what's annoying people they should fix it.

I can't imagine a commercial site being down for over a day without them noticing, it seems that DCC are not committing sufficient funds to the resource and I think it would be a pity if it folded, it helps a lot of people keep in contact.

Like Jim I spend less and less time on there and it's not because of the changes, it's more to do with the things that are discussed. I suppose times and interests change but there used to be more craic and discussion, or am I only imagining it?

Methinks they changed the interface because you set up this forum. Why else? The reason there's less craic on there is because I'm not posting. Hehe. I wish.
