I had cousins lived on Landen Rd, the mum Aunt Kathleen was my godmother and when one of her children was born I was asked to be her godmother. She was the first girl christened in the new church (1950s). I remembered there was a delay as the baptismal font had'nt arrived and I had to stay over one more night. I was about 14 and I was heartbroken being away from home as my mum had a new baby at the same time.

                no worries jinks,
i think the gotchies were short of a quid themselves , they knew it was harmless and for the homefire.

I loved Roy the cardboard student from Ballyfermot. He was a real card.
today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
