lol....better than them Comanches wha lived on the north side.Fish was sold every Friday on the corner of Clanbrassil with Lombard Street West outside old Ockey Woolf's shop. Ockey's after it closed down was where we put our holy alter for the Patrician Congress 1961 for Cardinal Agagianian the Papal Legate to see as he rode by in his limo. The street was always a hive of activity and a close knit community.
Janey Goldwater did the poultry in her shop, that's her at the door,,, and her husband Issac did the Meat in his shop.My mothers brother rented two rooms in the house with the corrugated sheets around the basement area next door, no wonder they took off for Coventry in the late 50's.
