Those photos are great Bang Bang, but they don't look like the nuns from the Presentation Convent, their habits look different. the nuns we had, had large white bibs (forgot the name) the ones in your picture have none.
even if I was in any I don't think I would recognise myself.

The one of Village Inn, used to be called Healey's Pub
all your photos are great. thank you.

Bang Bang, can I ask if I can nick some of your photos please
I am doing my family tree and have a folder with photos of
Dublin now and then. it is a private website so only people in my family can see them, and I would never claim to have taken them myself.
Thanks for letting us see them.

You are right MommyDearest the nuns from the Presentation did have 'bibs' although the head dress was the same.

Yes Mary Bridget the head dress is the same. but the photo's look like they were taken in the 50' / 60's, so it would be great to know the date, did you go to the Convent ?, I was there from 1950 to 1959.

Would those nuns be from Mt. St. Joseph (the Monastery Rd) I used to go to the processions there after my first communion.

Hi Mary Bridget, I remember Miss Clifford she was the only lay teacher, very prim and proper, we mostly had nuns.
what age were you when you started in the convant ?
I only knew the Presentation nuns.
