                    I remember back in the 60s there was a house on the hill almost facing the Martello Tower. Someone told me that Eamonn Andrews lived in there and I sat in the dunes and pondered how lives can be so different.

                          Eamon Andrews did live at the back of the hill, he was next door neighbour to the owners of the Martello Tower. He was a very descent chap and I spoke with him a few times when I was a teenager .... one time he was putting out his bin and we had a little chat ... no airs and graces but just an ordinary man.
