With the reductions over the past couple of weeks by energy suppliers , what's you rate .

Standard rate ,

Electricity ... 39.70c p/u ,
Gas ... 13.46c ,

An 8.5% reduction is applied for being a ' dual user ' which equates to 36.33 and 12.32 respectively .

Think I might be better off

Bord Gais Energy has become the latest energy supplier to reduce prices .

The company is to reduce it's unit rates for both Electricity and Gas by 15.5 %

Standing charges for both for both fuels also reduced by 15.5%

electricity 0.55 a unit I used 243 units and bill 134.31
I calculate how much it actually costs me too use including vat and standing charges and PSO

If you have a smart meter you dhould be able to see your peak times of usage and workout what appliances are inflating your bill.
