China seems to be flexing its muscles in the waters around Taiwan (Formosa), that is a bit concerning for the US and Japan..

I do hope that China does not think about getting food like Soya beans off Brazil in any large quantities....To supply China it means Slash and Burn great swathes of the Amazon forests,, and that is on a yearly basis.....The future of our children depends on that forest....

Well, one thing nobody would have predicted was Trump bombing Caracas and kidnapping the Venezuelan president Maduro. And he thought he should have gotten the Nobel Prize for peace !

I have ne!Her been much interested in South America, some countries are in a sad state of affairs there it seems
I am pleased that Trump is getting to grips with his own back yard, I do hope he will leave Europe to sort out it's own problelms......

There could be serious problems for Cuba......Cuba gets a lot of free oil off Venezuela and sells 30% of what it gets.....That money is used to buy medicines and food....There are serious shortages of both in Cuba at present....
