Who knows about the great Australian land-grab?

Was there no ''Buffalo Bills, Davy Crockets or even John Waynes '' to tell us what went on when the people who lived on that vast Continent for forty thousand years, lost their homes their living and their dignity, where they overwhelmed in secret?
Even the Camels that were brought there by the invaders as Beasts of Burden, gained their freedom and were treated better than those who's home it really was....

Why are Australians so eager to show of their wealth and success, yet so reluctant to let us know about the poverty, degradation and heartache that has caused....They cannot even say ''we have fought for this land'' as the fighting if any was so one-sided it would be embarrassing to mention....
Why is their success so specific when it comes to sharing that success?
