Fuel protests causing second day of traffic disruption amid warnings it may run to Friday
A second day of disruption around the country due to fuel protests as public transport in Dublin city severely affected and fuel depots in Galway and Limerick blocked
All Government departments can afford it , so no skin off their nose ..
Like everything, they come and go and they we moan about something else...But on the whole there is always the entertainment value.....
I can remember when they were removing the wooden blocks from the road surface in Whitefriar Street, we sneaked up there when it was dark and stole as much as we could carry....''Fuel for thought'' methinks...
Here Rex!!!...Here Rex!!!.....Wuff!!!....... Wuff!!!
About time we protested .....We pay the probably the highest Gas / Electricity / Petrol / Diesel / Taxes ...in Europe ...and what do we get for it......More taxes ...Household Charges / sky high waste collection / child care fees / " Voluntary School Contribution " that your hounded for...../ Sky High Houses and Apartments that working people cannot afford .......
P.S. And then we vote them back in again....
The mind is everything. What you think you become.
I do not think we are voting them in, I thnk the people that cannot be bothered to vote, or vote wisely, are a big problem if all the people moaning on social media got out in mass and voted it may change, I have always voted and have not voted for either of them since the 80's and no transfers to them either

I have never voted for either of them even though my family were Fianna Fail through & through.
Why do they use pencils for voting instead of pens.?
think maybe they are cheaper, they do not blob like ink pens can, they do not blur if the paper gets wet I am not sure if you have to use them, think you cn use your own pen as no one follows you in to watch and you fold your ballor paper, I have never been told to use the provided pencil that I recall

I have never been able to find an answer to that question but I imagine postal voters can use what they want.
I do know pencil votes can be erased.
