On the subject of Glassnevin, I came across this photo that was taken in Griffith Park in front of the playground , must be around say summer 1965, anyone lay claim to it or recognise the people , The photo captures the day, someone feeding ducks or fishing for pinkeens, also the aerials on the houses on walsh road.

They must have been nice people as they are on our side of the river lol........The nannson fella was late as there used to be a lot of bushes on the other side where all the youngwans and youngfellas were making out.
And the card games after mass on sunday were there too.....................They played a game called "Don".............do you remember it?....................9s and 5s?
