A lovely girl I grew up with.Would that street behind to the left in the pic be Botanic Ave? not Rd.?I could be wrong but it looks like the ave looking up from the drumcondra Rd and the old cottages at the bottom of the avenue?

Botanic Road goes from Harts Corner to the Botanic Gardens. Botanic Avenue goes from Drumcondra Road up to Botanic Gardens at right angles to Botanic Road. Definitely Botanic Avenue. The little girl is sitting on the extended wall of the Bridge over the Tolka River opposite St.Lukes, the old Fianna Fail HQ on Lr. Drumcondra Road where Bertie Ahern lived before his fall.
