It’s just that 2 posters on another site were discussing something or other and the name old Moore st came up. I never heard of it either and I just though it was wrong.

They might be referring to Moore Street before the development of the ILAC Centre in the late 70s when Cole’s Lane was demolished and replaced with new commercial units.

There was the Moore Street Market entrance on Denmark street which ran to Coles lane
The entrance was at number 12/13 Denmark st.
The name was chiselled in the head stone over the entrance...there is a photo of it somewhere on the forum
After the main moore street was established it became known as the old Moore street ...I wonder if that is what they are referring to
