Yes Silver Spoon ....it was the Workhouse for South Dublin and then part of it was Saint Kevins ....people of a certain era were terrified to go into that part as it was assumed if you were sent there you were on the way out of this life ....its a huge complex now

The Saint Kevins part was 1922ish to 1971

Thanks for that John interesting but depressing. I can remember as a child many people did not want to go into St Kevin's Hospital, there was a stigma as it was still referred to by many as the South Dublin Union
