released from the shackles of the cooker and washing machine. I am FREE for a week - I am Home Alone - himself is in Dublin for his annual pilgrimige. Every year I decline the kind offer he makes to take me with him - jaysus its worth it ha ha ha I tell him to go off and enjoy himself and I pay the air fare. God I am a great wife!!

biddy by the end of the week you'll have missed him so badly you'll be delighted to see him come back...and you'll be sick of the single party life hehhe...your house will be shining and you'll have no one to complain about and you'll miss him lol..

I have spent the past 2 days doing absolutely nothing, sitting in my jamas in the kitchen until 11am listening to the radio, then off to the shop for the papers, sitting down reading them and doing the crosswords and ating instant meals, then watching shite programmes on TV and then having a couple of shots and off to bed - what joy!

I usually get the one phone call on new Years eve but was startled to get one on Wednesday night asking if I was all right! I just told him I am grand

Helen, if Willie likes to spend a week going down 'memory lane' then he will be delighted, traipsing up Howth head, walking down streets and going on the dart, then a trip to Dollyer etc he will have a grand time so tell him to book up!

I do that every day RB,lol,but I have to say I do miss the old Man knowing he will never be back,treasure every day,the grass is not as green as it looks on tudder side.I know it really is fun being alone for awhile,but it does get old.I know you are just being lighthearted though! hugs,Marie......Sometimes I don't make the bed either! lol

i loved being on my own...although i never did actually get to be on my own.....2nd willie would take off in would arrive a kid bag and baggage to keep me company darn it lol..while i appreciated their concern i really did i was very anxious to get rid of them lol......and the joy of stretching out on the whole bed.....hed love that trip biddy..
