There is a text /WhatsApp scam , Mam I lost me phone this is my friends number ,phone me back please . Now I believe that AI will be able to copy a person's voice from their online videos and that the possibility of a new scam using a person's voice is not too far away ..Maybe the answer would be to have a safe word or memory that is only known between you and yours .

The voice copying has been in action for some time now I believe , watched a doc short time back and sweet f" "k .... cloning a persons voice was no problem .

Possibilities are endless....Of course as I mentioned, every voice has a unique I.D. so maybe that could be used to identify scammers etc....?

That's interesting about unique I.D didn't know that , was always impressed with impressionists talent .

Some were brilliant, but that took years of practice i believe and then i am not sure if they could electronically match..

this week I received 2 scam messages, one re the new phone number, and a second not from a mobile number but a number usually used by the likes of a company, that one said I had added a new benfactor to my bank account and asking y or n as to if it was me my bank fraud depatment does have a number but this did not come from my bank

I ignore all of them now, most people who know me have my email since the early 90's so they can email me to get in touch

Concerns now about world financial industry.....All codes can be broken with AI...
Another concern for the Future, people's past on the internet can be resurrected no mater where it was Posted....
