Okay, so I have not read all the history, but why is it I think the fact that the Swiss were armed is only one of several reasons why the Germans left them alone. Like, couldn't the Germans just have blown their way in with their tanks?

Or, is it that in addition to the armed population, the Nazis had a lot of money on deposit there? Money is always such a motivating factor.

Okay, so lotsa folks don't want squat to do with a gun, and some of us do. I could use a visit to the shooting range tomorrow because shooting a couple of hundred rounds will reduce all the stress I've been under this week....I just like the hobby. I have several hobbies.....this is one of them.

I'd guess Camo still reads here......dude, guns are something like abortions.....if you don't believe abortion is right...DON'T HAVE ONE. What one believes in concerning these two subjects is SUBJECTIVE. Camo was the first born-again christian (BAC) I've ever had the chance to argue with.....I'll miss that because I just do not meet BAC's in my daily life in academia. Typically, I just gotta read their nonsense somewhere & get pissed off at it because I have no option to reply. I think his BAC philosophy at it's worst (or most comic?) was toting the guns to church....if the neighborhood is that dangerous, do you even want to go that church in the first place? Too funny.

And of course (West) Germany inherited Hitler's so-called "reasonable gun laws" passed in 1938. His gun laws indeed were reasonable when compared to the anti-gun drive in modern Germany. As a result, many larger German cities are crime-ridden,and it's no longer safe for the elderly to walk out at night.
Do you think Hitler was a reasonable man?
