                London was named by the Romans as were many other places in the UK...England was named after a Germanic Tribe called the Angles...

                  They are masterpieces of engineering.
                  We use them many times each day
                  We are not aware of how useful they are.
                  they save us millions of hours.
                  We get annoyed when they go wrong.
                  we never show other people that we have got them.
                  we have little idea of how cheap they are.
                  They are seldom mentioned..
                  They help to keep us warmer in winter.
                  Few people know who the inventor was.
                  They make a nice sound when used.
                  They come in lots of colours and sizes.?

                      I joined the Army in 1961 and started my training in 1962 the squad I was in was called Palestine Squad.....,,When I was discharged in 1969 it was from Gaza Barracks in Yorkshire
